Cancellation and Returns
You can cancel your contract at any time up to 7 working days after the day of delivery. We do required details of your wish to cancel in writing either by email to email@example.com or by post to Truro Granite Ltd, Highfield, 175 Bodmin Road, Truro, Cornwall, TR1 1RA. We aim to respond within 2 working days to confirm the cancellation and details of the refund due. There is no particular requirement to give a reason for cancellation, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.
If you do cancel your order due to it being unsuitable or no longer needed there will be a collection charge (typically the same as the original delivery charge) Please note that if you refuse the delivery in these circumstances the charge still applies.
If you wish to return the goods at your own cost please contact firstname.lastname@example.org on 01872 273885 to discuss further.
Alternatively, we can arrange the collection for you, there will be a charge for this service (typically the same as the original delivery charge). Please ensure the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage in transit.
If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us and these result in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value.
For your security and protection refunds are given by the same method which the payment was made by.
This cancellation policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Special Order Items
A "special order" is any order that has been personalised to your specification by altering the original product, or a non-stock item that has been ordered by us from our suppliers on your behalf. If you wish to cancel an order for a special item you will be liable for the cost incurred by Truro Granite to the point to which you have informed us. This will typically be the cost of manufacture that we have been liable for and any delivery costs that have been incurred in relation to this order.
Whilst we do our utmost to ensure your goods arrive in perfect condition, if you should find any problem with your order, please contact email@example.com by email or phone. When ordering your material it is important to allow 10% extra for cuts, waste and a small number of potential breakages (1-3%). You have 14 days from date of delivery in which to report any missing or damaged items and we ask you to follow up your initial contact in writing with photos by way of an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We endeavour to display as accurately as possible the colour of our products on our website, however, as our products are produced from natural stone, each batch is unique making it difficult to guarantee complete accuracy of the descriptions, images or photographs that are shown.
